Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet the goal of feeding 400 families in Prince George's County through our partnership with Forte Foote Baptist Church.
The L2C Community Outreach Service Team is excited to be working with Fort Foote Baptist Church Food Distribution and Food Pantry, as a community partner to address food insecurity in Prince George's County. Fort Foote Baptist Church, located in Fort Washington, Maryland provides food to 400 families monthly, and we have the capacity to sponsor 50, however, our goal is to help as many families in need as we can. We will all need to do our part in getting the word out about our food and toiletry drives. Your donation will help us:
- Replenish and help maintain the food pantry (ongoing)
- Solicit food donations and gift cards from local supermarkets
- Conduct food drives to collect food items, monetary donations, and supermarket gift cards
- Provide assistance during food distribution and holiday food drive
- Collect toiletry donations for Shepard's Cove Women's Shelter and Central Union Mission Men's Shelter
- Create care packages for those in shelters
